Happy Valentine's Day! Although my official bandiversary/surgiversary isn't until February 20th, I thought today would be a great day to post again, because (a) it's been a long time and (b) I have a lot to celebrate!
On February 20th, I will be celebrating my 6th anniversary of beginning a new life, and finally learning how to love ME... the way everyone else has all along.
I am currently 165.2lbs and feel great (other than being on the tail end of a stomach bug). I started this journey at over 270 pounds, and my highest weight was over 300. So I am VERY happy with where I've come! Even with all the ups and downs on the journey, I have no complaints.
While the band was great for me while it worked, I really am enjoying this new life of not having to be filled, getting stuck, etc... Although there are similarities! I do occasionally still get stuck with the RNY, and I actually eat alot less with it than I was able to with the lap band. The one thing I'm not so good at with RNY is staying up with my vitamins, which I really need to figure out how to get better at... ASAP.
All in all, life is amazing.

You look amazing and it is inspirational because you had successes and failures along this journey. And you stuck with it.
What a wonderful update! I'm so glad that you are doing well.
looking good dude. So proud of you!
So glad you are doing so well. You look great! I have my last appointment of my pre-insurance requirements for revision surgery to a sleeve. I'm excited, but of course nervous. Hope things work out as well as they did for you.
Looks like a wonderful time and you look fantastic!! Congrats on all the hard work and perseverance paying off and having such great results!
