Little Things that Excite me…

So, 16 days from surgery. I'm not particularly nervous about it. I guess I just haven’t been thinking too much about it. But there have been little things, here and there, that just subconsciously excite me about this upcoming change. Here is one of them... We went tubing this weekend, and had an absolute blast. So what does tubing have to do with surgery? Well, just knowing that next year, it will be much easier to heave myself OUT of the tube at the bottom of the run, and not questioning whether or not I’ll pop the tube when I sit on it! And I can’t wait to splurge and buy myself a pair of ski-bibs to go tubing/sledding in! I don’t think they make them in my size currently, and if they did, I wouldn’t want to spend the money on them! That’s my random thought of the day… I've added a picture of Lucia on the tube...

Tomorrow is a big appointment day with the info on my liquid / liver-shrinking diet, and lots of pre-op testing. I’ll fill you in as I know more.
