Hi Everyone! I've been gone at the beach (OBX - outer banks, NC) since Saturday. What a great vacation, but you know what?!?!? I missed you all! I missed checking in with my bandster buddies to see what's happening in your lives. At any rate, we had a GREAT time - only there about 3 full days on the beach, but sufficiently sunburned and the kids had a great time. Here is a picture of Lucia, and her buddies Ben & Zach hanging in the water. They thought it was the greatest thing to just sit in their chairs and let the waves hit them. The joys of being a kid!
We had lots of fun - ate dinner out every night - and I ordered off of the appetizer menu and got a side salad - all in all, that seemed to work out well. I don't feel like I overdid it on the meals, but the snacks and drinks in the house I think did me in. I'm up about 3 pounds. I'll know for sure better tomorrow morning since I normally weigh myself when I first wake up, and today it was 4 hours into the morning after coffee, water and breakfast. I'm heading in today to get a fill, so hopefully that will get me back on track before Lucia's 5th bday party this weekend and then our trip to FL later this month.

And here is a picture of Candace and me - I don't like how I look on the bottom, but I realized that it is because these shorts (which last summer fit like sausage casing) are too big! Yay! And not looking good. Comfortable, mind you - but not attractive. Good problem to have I guess. Oh - and I had a great NSV at dinner last night - we went to a place that had great T-shirts, so I bought one. Got an XL since that is what I'm down too, but it looked REALLY big. So they let me try one on in the bathroom, and the L fit with room to spare! Yippee!
OK - off to the fill, swim lessons start today for Lucia, hair cut for her tonight, and of course, the after-vacation pile of laundry!!! Look forward to catching up with everyone.

Sarah glad you had fun with your family, those 3 pounds will come off soone enough, the most important thing is that you had a great time, we have to live too.

There you are! Wondered where you had got to. Sounds like you had a brilliant time... I envy you the sun.. its cold and wet and miserable here right now. And to think I wanted rain.. pfft lol
