You will find a roommate I am sure of it, no silly high school stuff here! Wish I was closer but alas, SC is pretty far. Is there somewhere you can fly out of that is cheaper? I am driving to Charlotte to fly to Chicago, it's $150 cheaper than here!

I told Jen from Oregon that I would room with her if she decided to go because she's so shy. I don't know if she's going or not at this point. I think you and I would potentially be great roommates, because everything you said is exactly how I'd like it to be! Yeah, and I can't sleep with the TV on, but I plan on bringing sleeping meds because I'll be in a strange room sleeping, so that may not be a problem after all. Let me know if you get any responses.
awww! Don't feel ssad because you have no roomie...i know there are more of us who don't. You will find someone. There is way too much love for anyone to feel bad!!

I don't have a roommate yet, but still not 100% that I am going - I am planning on going to Europe at the end of the month for a friend's wedding and a vacay, I also can't promise I will not have a ciggie one night after a few drinks, but I wouldn't do it inside. So I can be your back up.

As for the 5k on Sunday, we are working on getting late checkout for some of the rooms so anyone wanting to do the 5k can shower afterward.

Hey, Sarah - I totally understand the high school flashback feeling. Sounds like from Linda's comment above that you are not the only one without a roommate, so hopefully you'll be joined up with someone soon. It's definitely not about popularity as far as whether or not you got a roommate - I totally lucked out finding someone that lives in my state (well technically she lives in MD and I live in PA, but I'm right over the MD line. And we work 10 minutes from each other.) You are my idol and you have no idea how much I'm looking forward to meeting you. And lastly, you look so freaking skinny in your vlog.
Oh, and if the sleeping arrangements are the only thing keeping you from doing 3 to a room for you, my idol, I would be willing to take the sofa or rollaway. I'm not a great sleeper to begin with so it probably won't matter where I sleep. I don't smoke and don't like the tv on. While I'm not afraid of the dark, I like to have a small light on somewhere because I get up a few times to go to bathroom and don't want to trip on my way. However, if darkness is a deal breaker I can bring a flashlight with me. (Don't laugh, I don't want to break my toe like another blogger that shall remain nameless). I would just need to double check with my roommate to make sure she is okay with 3 to a room, but we had discussed the possibility. Just let me know if you are interested and I'll ask Linda. oh my goodness no. No high school hurt feelers here. That's the opposite of what the BOOBs are about. There are other people who haven't found their roomie yet. Don't stress. No pressure.

Sarah, I wish I was going - I want to be your roommate!! I am pretty much ready for bed at 8:30, too on a normal night at home! I have to be in the bed no later then 10 or else I am one cranky gal the next day! Hooray for Band Dorks - I was one too! See, we would get along perfect and I am sure that I would not have a roommate yet either, but alas - I can't go on the trip, boo.

Sarah, I just caught up on your vlog and I almost cried! Darling, please don't worry about this in the SLIGHTEST. Seriously. There are loads of people without roomates and the only reason that I already have mine is because she stalked me! Just kidding. I stalked her.
Anyway - I totally get your insecurity and neediness regarding sleep and beds, etc. I'm like that too and stressing a bit over the trip because with a 18 month old, its hard for me to stay up past 11pm most nights. And I have a hard time falling asleep in strange beds. BUT, that is what XANAX is for! I'll bring enough for the both of us!
cannot wait to meet you. My family lives in MD and we go through Richmond all the time to visit so the next time, I'll get in touch and we can do coffee or lunch or something!
Hi Sarah, I still need a roomie if you want to bunk with me! I'm a non-smoker, and my husband falls asleep with the TV every night, so I'll just turn it off after you fall asleep like I do to him. :-) My only issue is that I am terribly allergic to perfume, and can't deal with it being sprayed around me. So, other than that, I've never axe murdered anyone. I can't say I NEVER will, but so far, so good.
Oh, I do use a CPAP machine for sleep apnea and it's a little scary looking, but hopefully I won't need it by September.
