- Our friend "G" is back in the hospital - she seems to have had a stroke and this is putting things concerning her care into a whole other realm... we've tried to take care of her for the last few years, but not sure I can keep supporting her the way I have been. No, I know I can't. I just have to get that message thru to the right people.
- Mom & Dad are stuck in Europe - been on the phone non-stop with them... next flight out is next Monday - but at least they're enjoying themselves. They've moved beyond the educational tour stops in London... yesterday they saw the Princess Di and Dody shrine at Harrod's. Classy.
- Had to lead the girlscout troop on my own Sunday - thankfully had some great helpers, but that in and of itself was stressful - I mean 9 5&6 year olds on my own?!?!? Holy cow. But, I did get a group hug/tickle from all of them which was wonderful.
- Weight STILL HOLDS FIRM at 204.2... ugh. Will I ever see 199 again? At least it isn't going up given my eating...
- I haven't gotten a run in for over 3 weeks.
- Changes to birth control = major hormonal swings on top of everything...
This has been a big test for me because I realize I have completely fallen into the "stress-induced" old eating habits. For example, lunch yesterday? A junior roast beef and cheese hoagie (bread included) from Wawa with half of a bag (3.5 servings per bag-sized-bag) of Cheetos... plus two handfuls of M&M's... And everytime something comes up relating to G's medical issues, all I want to do is have a drink... OK - time to start exercising again... I think that will help. I promise I will post cruise thoughts soon. I just need to get thru this for now. Thank God I have BOOBS to look forward too! I am going to start looking for cheap flights tomorrow!

Sorry things are so stressful right now. Hopefully it lets up soon. Can't wait to meet you in Chicago.
You be strong if you know you won't be able to care for G. Others seem to assume you will take on the work.
My hubby is stuck in Manila and my son in Africa. So far they are doing well but hope it doesn't go on for too much longer.
Hang in there Sara, things will get better! See ya in Chicago!
Sorry that your are struggling right now. {{HUGS}}} and good thoughts to you! Oh ... and 9 5/6yo girl scouts would send me diving head first into the donuts :)
So sorry to hear about all the tough times. You can do this, try to get back to protein first.. that is a good place to start. Who am I fooling?! I would be stuffing chocolate down my pie hole in your situation! :)
