I have been a bit absent lately... a lot has been going on that I don't want to go into on the blog, but we are here, and plugging away toward a June 27th C-Section date.
7 weeks... It is nice to have a light at the end of the tunnel!

I am officially on modified bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy, so I am hoping to have some time to spend on updating the blog a bit, maybe figuring out how to add a page for family pics, etc... we'll see! The nesting instinct is definitely kicking in so I want to figure out how to get as much of that done as I can from the couch and/or bed... not as easy as it sounds though! Lots to do - some pretty big stuff included, and limited time to get it done. Oh well - what happens, happens, right? I was given "special dispensation" to go to Mother's Day Brunch at the Jefferson on Sunday, which was a delightful treat... the pictures are of that and outside the house.

And my neighbors and amazing girlfriends also planned a surprise baby-shower for me this past weekend which was so nice and really raised my spirits up, which was much needed!

Great pics Sarah! Thank you for sharing. I cannot believe you only have 7 weeks left. Your pregnancy has really flown by FOR ME!
I was so happy for you and the baby when you wrote about the accident and that you were both fine! It is so scary when you think about what others are doing while they are "driving"! Scares me to death actually but you really have to experience something for it to be truly meaningful.
Please send me your home address via my email....now that I know the theme for baby's room, I may find something at Bealls that inspires me!

The baby will be here befor you know it and I am just so happy for you. You have such a glow about you! Take it easy on bed rest and keep us updated on your progress!
