Dennis is in Boston for work... flew up this morning. We're scheduled to go to FL on Thursday for a mini-vacation, and lo and behold, his flight home tomorrow night was cancelled due to weather (sigh)... I'm REALLY hoping they can just rebook him directly to FL!!! Ugh. Is this Murphy's law??? Whatever happens, as long as he is safe, I'm happy. But we REALLY want this brief and WARM vacation...

On the size Medium front...
here is my most recent and exciting purchase... the shirt is a size MEDIUM! WTF?!?!? MEDIUM! Amazing. So fun. The skirt is a 16, and is getting a tad big (thank you Candace again for giving it too me!!!)... Lucia took the pic this morning, so sorry if it is kind of blurry... not bad for a 5 year old!

I had posted in prior posts about my wedding rings... both my band and engagement ring are now FAR too big, and have been put into a safe place. The "fake" engagement ring I bought a few months ago is getting big too, so today I got this little "fake" at TJMaxx on clearance.
I'm not totally sure whether I like it or not, but for $20 I won't complain. I'll keep it on for a few days and see how it feels... I'm pretty sure it is a size 6.5 or 6 - it is a little snug, but I think part of that is the style of it. At any rate, it is SOMETHING to hold that space until I get to goal and can have my rings resized!
I do miss my wedding band and engagement ring a bit... I guess it is a small price to pay for losing the weight! I'll take that anyday! And maybe when I get to goal, a new (NICE, i.e. not clearance) ring to boot!

Hey sarah, I'm here in Boston and I had work cancelled for me already for tomorrow and almost every school is cancelled as well. Its supposed to taper off throughout wed. night, so there's not a doubt in my mind he'll make it home/fl thurs. You look fab, and thanks again for the yummy recipe I made it again tonight lol!

Congrats on the medium, that is great. I like the new ring, very cool. I hope you get to your vacation, I am jealous we are going skiing instead of somewhere warm..wish it were the other way around!
Do you find that you still tend to gravitate towards the large and ex-large sizes? I did for a very long time - it took a while for it to sink that I wore a medium.

Hi Sarah, you look great and so does the ring. About the FL trip, I live in central FL near Daytona and my advice is to pack a jacket...its been unseasonably cold down here. Nothing like what you have up north but definitely not normal.
My whole family is coming down next week from Long Island thinking they were going swimming...not!
I hope hubs either gets home in time or is able to meet you there...have a great time
