Halloween Loot...

And we wonder why there is an obesity epidemic?!?!?  Yet, did I give much other than candy?  Nope... a few stickers and tattoos for the smaller kids, but plenty of candy for the big kids.  It is absolutely amazing how much candy Lucia ended up with!  In fact, at one house she got an 8-PACK of candy bars...  CRAZY!  And she got at least 5 other full-size candy bars... clearly there is no recession in our neighborhood... people were VERY generous as you can see from the picture below.

Personally, not having ANY restriction at all has been quite the challenge... needless to say, I am definitely up from my flu-low... (sigh).  I know it is all going to be fine and I am still able to use moderation in major doses and I keep reminding myself as I am making choices not to over-do it, because even being completely unfilled, I still get full very quickly which is a good thing...  But this chocolate is going to have to GO!  Thankfully, Lucia decided (on her own!) that she wants to send half of it to her uncle matt who is stationed overseas.  I love my kid... she is so darn thoughtful and sweet!  Hope ya'll had a great Halloween.

Here are some pix from tonight...

Our Neighbor Palmer (aka "Chick Magnet") and Lucia (and Harry Potter)

Had to laugh at the bowl of "sugar candy" and the good stuff aka CHOCOLATE. LOL (We did that 45 years ago too!)

Wow. That is a lot of candy for one little girl to get :) All I can say, is I am glad it is not in my house or I would be in serious trouble :P

She's so cute!
I had to limit myself to only stealing candy from my 19 month old nephew because he wouldn't know the difference.
