OK, it isn't until June of next year (2010) - and it'll be the 20 (gulp) year reunion. I know I shouldn't be thinking about this now, but I've recently added a bunch of "friends" from my highschool on Facebook, and as they've accepted, I've been checking out their info, websites, etc... Some are married with kids, others aren't. Some are working fabulous jobs, others aren't. Mostly, it is comforting to see that folks are just plain mid-30 normal folks! It is interesting and a bit funny, the memories that come back with some of the names and faces! And not to mention, for those friends of mine out there that I've known longer, the memories with the HAIR STYLES (can we say bad hair in that 8th grade picture?!?!?)... I guess we've all moved on to more important things than the latest J. Crew outfit from 20 years ago. Maybe. Although someday I'd like to order a NEW J. Crew outfit!
I'm excited to think about where I might be on this journey in 15 months. I hope I am successful. Heck - I already am, but I can't wait to see myself on campus then, hopefully thinner than I was when I was in school! 20 years older, and hopefully 80+ pounds lighter!
