How much have I lost?

An Automobile Tire.  Seriously.

There is a site I visit called Lapbandtalk.com... support group for those of us who have had or are thinking about the surgery.  One of the other blogs I've been checking out had this list from the site...  The premise is to compare your weight loss to everyday things.  Here are some examples:
  • 6 lbs = a human's skin
  • 7.5 lbs = an average newborn
  • 8 lbs = a human's head
  • 15 lbs = 10 dozen large eggs
  • 16 lbs = a sperm whale's brain
  • 20 lbs = an automobile tire (how much I've lost so far)
  • 30 lbs = the amount of cheese an average American eats in a year (probably true!)
  • 33 lbs = a cinder block
  • 40 lbs = a 5-gallon bottle of water or an average human leg
  • 50 lbs = a small bale of hay
Interesting concept - I'm going to google to see if there are other examples!   Next big goal is that cheese...
