Snow Fun, Sore Arms and Steroid Woes

What fun this snow storm has been! Especially because we didn't lose power - Thank God! We ended up with about a foot, and the kids have been having a blast sledding down our neighbor's front yard. Here are a few pix of the festivities...

BFF's for ever!!!

My arms are in PAIN from lots of shoveling - I guess something had to take the place of running since our roads are now covered in ice! A home-version of weight lifting!!! My parents come today for the holidays, and Lucia seems to be doing better health-wise but the steroids are really taking a toll on her attitude and behavior - she is normally such a great kid and self-focused ... these last few days, she can't stay focused on ANYTHING for more than 5 minutes at a time and is having a hard time controlling her emotions, so hopefully these drugs are doing what they need to. We finish the steroid regiment on Christmas Eve... I can't wait! I'm getting ready to head into a late opening at work... 2 more days and then 11 days off... Whoo Hooo!

Yes! I agree with Amy, I am jealous of the snow!! Looks like everyone had a fantastic time playing in it.

Hope the Steroid treatment helps Lucia.

Have a safe & Happy Christmas!

Poor Lucia - I was just where she was! Lots of humidifiers and lots of liquids was my key to getting better!

Lucia might still have some residue of not being well, but nothing stops them when the snow hits. Look at that little Snow Bunny and her BFF. Very cute.
Ouch on the sore arms. I can imagine they are aching something shocking. Hope it goes soon.

Hey there - the snow does look like fun and to think we're not that far from each other and we got about 10 mins of light snowflakes and that was IT! Boo Hoo!
yes I am going to do the Shamrock. Not the half but the 8K. Are you planning to do it also?
Let me know! :)
