So last night we had our Christmas party... LOL... we have an annual "Tacky Re-Gift" Party after the holidays to kind of "close out" the season. It is a party where people bring the tackiest gift they received that year and, yes, re-gift it! It is a lot of fun. There are some FUNNY (and really gross) things that make an appearance - often times over and over again each year! This year's turnout was smaller than past years but honestly that made it nicer because I was able to socialize with everyone - we had about 35 people here... At any rate, we didn't have the party last year because of illness so for a lot of folks, it's been since pre-surgery since I've seen them. I just reveled in the compliments last night! Of course, I specifically chose the most slimming outfit I could, and I'm glad - so many sweet, kind, comments about how good I looked. It was so FUN!

The random NSV that really hit home happened before the party... I was finishing up cleaning around the house and was hand washing some wine glasses. We have a few that I haven't managed to break yet, that are the "big" red ones - very large glasses. In the past, I would stick the dish rag in and kind of stretch my fingers to get it to the bottom to swish the rag around and try to wash the glass out. Well, yesterday, without thinking, I put my entire hand up to my wrist in the glass to wash it. My whole hand NEVER would have fit in there before! Kind of a random way to see weightloss - but clearly my wrist/hand is a LOT smaller than it used to be! Very fun victory! For whatever reason, it really hit me hard yesterday when that happened.

I believe it! I even read the other day how someone lost a shoe size...lemme just say, if that happens, I'm in bigggg trouble. Congrats!!
I think it's the little NSV's that no one else would notice that are especially magic, eh? Awesome.
wow that NSV is so awesome!!! I am someone how can never find a braclet or bangle to fit me so I totally understand!!! What about shoes? have you noticed any difference? I am sure you deserved all those lovely comments xxx
Rings that you haven't worn in years, you'll be able to wear again. Bracelets will fit again. Watches will fit again. Necklaces that used to almost choke you, now they'll be comfortable and look beautiful. I didn't lose a shoe size but my shoes from winter 2008 could not be worn during winter 2008 because I lost so much weight in my weight.

Awesome NSV, Sarah. Who knew hands could lose so much - I'm finding all this out myself. It's super exciting. Sounds like you had a fun time at the party!!

My fingers have also slimmed which means my wedding and engagement rings are a little big. I keep dropping hints to the hubby for a new one...but alas he still hasnt bitten !! LOL !!
