I need to start my day by eating a frog.

Huh? Yes... I need to "Start my day be eating a frog".
"Eat a live frog every morning, and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day." ~ Mark Twain
Essentially, the premise of this article is that (DUH!) we shouldn't put off doing the thing we hate the most... we should just do it first. Rocket science, right? Well, it wouldn't hurt me to go ahead and follow that advice! Work has been crazy these last few weeks, and it is looking to continue the craziness through February. I work in HR, and have been auditing a number of our employing locations. I actually like it, but the travel (day trips) is getting a bit old. The worst part is the report write-up afterward... I am behind a few reports and that is my "frog"... just have to do it! Like maybe I should be doing it right now instead of posting this blog (sigh). On the homefront, my frog is laundry and filing paperwork. I just let it pile up - both things... I hate both (but at work I love paperwork - go figure)... So, time to really focus on the frogs in my life!
~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the WLS front, I need to re-group / re-start / re-fresh / re-whatever... I am just stalled out at this 206.2 (207 this morning) mark. So, back to the basics... tracking my protein, watching my portion size, upping the water, keeping on with the exercise. I see so many of you getting to (or close to) Onderland, and I am cheering every one of you on - but I want to be there, darn it! (sigh again). I know. It'll come. And Monday will be over in 8 hours!
Great advice. I have a few frogs to eat myself at home and work.
Diet wise, it's exercise and more water.
You're doing great - I can't wait for the celebration when you enter onderland! I'll bring the party hats and noisemakers. lol
Yes, definitely good advice with the frog thing. I feel the same way when I see so many post about onederland, but I have to say, you really are so close! 7 or 8 pounds is such a realistic amount of weight to lose to get there! you can totally do it, i mean, look what you've already accomplished!
Gees! I minus well have a freaking frog farm in here (LOL!) I guess it's a good thing I like frogs..right !!
Great post, it makes it seem not as bad if I look at the pile like a frog instead !!
I agree with you and feel your frustration and also agree with Heathers comment. It's right there..I know that sometimes makes it a little worse but just think of the huge emotional reward when you do get there ( which I know will be real soon) knowing that you worked your oomph-paloomp to get there !!
Sarah-here is what happened with my one year post. I have been working on it so it is saved in drafts. Then when I published it today it published it several days back. Now it looks like an old post! Is it showing up on your dashboard like a current post?
First, I need to go round up a lot of frogs. What a good line!
Thanks for the goodies, Sarah! I love the little pink pedalpushers, and I think they might still fit in the beginning of the summer, they are pretty tight! And brown pants are so useful, even though they are lovely linen, I will be wearing them right now!
