A randomly unexpected NSV this morning
OK - this is a random and probably silly one... but prior to losing weight, I always had in my mind that I shouldn't wear off-white/cream /white bottoms because I was convinced that they would make me look large (not that I was or anything!). Well, today I put on a pair of "winter white" (kind of a very light cream) pants with a brown sweater and it looked good! I may be breaking the pre-Memorial-day rule (I'm pretty clueless about fashion rules), but to hell with it! I'm sorry I don't have a picture to share, but I'm wearing them, darn it! Because they look good! 70 pounds ago I wouldn't have been caught DEAD in light-colored pants. No way, no how. Brown, black and navy blue were my uniform. I was convinced they hid my sins more than light colors did. Other than the occasional pair of khakis, you wouldn't find me near that! Today... I took the leap! Whoo Hoo! I'll try to get a picture of the outfit to share tonight.

My fashion rule ~ "if it fits wear it"! LOL ~ glad you feel comfortable in light colored pants. You go girl!! ;-)
You will be glad to hear that the white after labor day rule no longer applies! So you rock those winter white pants sister! I still worry about having cellulite in the butt area with white, but if they are a good fit I think I can pull them off:) Um...and why didnt you take a picture of them!

Light color pants in public is a HUGE accomplishment ! Hooray for you lady...you are doing just fantastic. I was showing my hubby all the before/after pics of my blog friends and when he saw yours he was like no way is that the same person ??!!
I wholeheartedly endorse your wearing of winter white during the winter! I shy away from white as well and totally applaud you!! Way to go!

You're ready to discover red, yellow, and all the other colors of the spectrum that you were afraid to wear. I love looking at my closet these days - it's a rainbow, which is a far cry from what it was 126 lbs. ago.
I feel that way too!!!! I also have a weird thing about them because I feel like it's inviting my monthly visitor to come at that moment ;)
