I'm Sick. And I'm Tired.
Why now? Seriously? Now is NOT the time for a chest/head cold. I have a fun-filled weekend in Chicago staring me in the face and I get sick NOW?!?!? Ugh. I am not someone who calls in sick unless I am really not feeling good - even though I love the idea of playing hooky, my inner self has a work-ethic that is too strong to lie. The guilt starts kicking in when I even think about it. This morning? I called in without any guilt at all, so I must not be feeling good. I am staying home today, and going back to bed now... hopefully between that, a nap this afternoon, and early bedtime plus plenty of OJ, tea, etc.... I will feel better tomorrow. I am taking Lucia in to the Allergist this afternoon for her stick testing, and am going to beg him to hook me up with a Zpac to have with me in case this turns the corner into a sinus infection or something...

Oh no! I hope it doesn't get worse so you can enjoy the weekend. I travel a lot (and when I do, it's usually hopping from city to city every day for a week at a time)...and I always get sick by the middle of it. So miserable to travel while sick. The Z pack is a great idea.

I've been avoiding my daughter all week because she has a cold. I think I'm giving her a complex, but it's worth it to be healthy in Chicago. LOL. Hope you get some good drugs.
