Um... I'd better start running I guess!
Wow. September 1st. When the heck did that happen? As much as I enjoy the adventures of summer, I must say that I am thrilled that Fall is officially (in my book) here. Note the new fall background... a few leaves make me happy! Now... the fact that it is September also makes me realize that 23 days from now, I'll be running a 5k. Yeah. Good thing I promised to finish it with everyone, 'cause I may not be running much! I did get my shirt, a size L, which is huge. I think that is a good thing, unless they are unisex sizes... Sigh... time to get back into the fall routine starting next Tuesday (of course I could start "practicing" earlier I guess). School, running, and all that other stuff. And I think that is a good thing since I am looking forward to it!

I'm happy you are gonna make sure everyone makes it to the finish line, as I will more than likely be too stubborn to stop running and fall over half way, so I request that you ladies pick me up or at least get someone to bring me oxygen when you find me :)
Its a good thing i told Stephanie I'd be walking with her...my ankle is acting up again and I have a CT scan in the works! I swear, this couldn't have happened at a worse time!
Can't wait to see you soon!
I'll be walking it too! :)
Beth... I'm an EMT... I'll rescue you when I WALK up behind your supine body. I bought shoes today; does that count for training?
That's awesome that a L is too big.
It's so weird the sizing on the racing T's. I got an XL for my 10k in april thinking it would barely fit based on the notion that a fit person's xl would be a regular person's medium.
Not so, I guess!
I took a break from running and was terrified to get back. But seriously, you have 2-3 HARD runs ahead of you and then.... smooth sailing. You'll pick up where you left off pretty quickly.
So don't sweat it too much and when you're doing those hard runs juts know that they actually are counting towards something other than torture!
:-)
