A heavenly 1.5 day vacation... and a quick work update

A quick work update: The first week was good... lots of reading and learning about the new organization. I am now working for the Catholic Diocese in Richmond, so a lot to learn... everyone has been wonderfully friendly though!
Heaven on Earth...  More fun to report on was our trip to the Ocean City, MD area this weekend... Here is where we stayed: My next-door-neighbor, who has also quickly become one of my closest friends in Richmond since she moved in, and also is the mother to Lucia's best friend, invited us to spend the weekend with her family at her folks' place up in MD....  let me tell you what - this place is heaven. I'm taking a cue from Catherine and realizing that I can really can post more than one or two pictures! So here are some pix of the house that we got to stay in... I have to tell you - staying here is like staying at the most luxurious B&B... there is so much attention to detail, beautiful art work, gorgeous setting... what a great treat! Thanks Friend!!! (you know who you are and we love you tons!)
The horizon pool...
The chairs by the window, in the kitchen I referenced earlier...
great for sitting with your morning cup(s) of coffee!
The living room sofa... seats 15 easily!
And the family in the pool... Den, Lu and me.  We had such a good time.  Not exactly sure what the scale will tell in the morning, but the band is doing it's job!  I didn't go overboard at all except for two handfuls of baked cheetos (Amy - I feel your pain)...  And you know what?  They were worth it!   At any rate, we had a great time - back to work tomorrow morning - and before that, to Curves!  Talk to all of you soon...
