Are you ready for this? I SAID "NO" TO KRISPY KREME! TWICE! Really! I'm amazed. Shocked. And very proud of myself! I just had a meeting, and they had 6 DOZEN Krispy Kreme donuts there of all varieties. BOY was I tempted, but I did it and said no - twice! Coming in, and Going out - and I'm hungry, but I'm going to have my cheese stick! I'll be honest - that wouldn't have happened pre-band OR even 6 weeks ago... Yippee! Thank God they weren't hot anymore... (for those of you out of the south-east, Hot Krispy Kremes are an amazing thing - heaven on earth)

Love your blog! I also live in Virginia and LOVE LOVE LOVE krispy kreme! And you are so right - hot Krispy Kreme are simply the best. I used to allow myself to eat as many "hot doughnuts now" only on my birthday. I even have one of their Christmas Ornaments that blink 'hot doughnuts now' LOL. Too funny - I just totally related to your last post! Hey and we almost have the same WL ticker! Congrats on your success so far. I have stalled b/c I didn't "want" it like you mention in earlier posts. I wasn't there mentally but I am now. You are one of the people motivating me that it really is possible. Ok, sorry for the long comment - great blog, great content, funny and well written! :)
You should get a medal for turning down a Krispy Kreme! I'm not sure if I could do that if they were hot - they are truly other worldly when they are just made. I grew up in North Carolina - so KK and I have a love/hate relationship from way back.
You are doing a great job and I love your blog.
