Chicken Fried...

Do you ever hear a song that really resonates? Well, lately it is the Zac Brown Band's "Chicken Fried"... I love the lyrics and the make me think that after 13 years of living south of the Mason Dixon Line (yikes!) that I am living in the south for good... And proud to do so! In fact, I remember as clear as a bell the day that one of my BF's said "Sarah, you're going to move down there and fall in love and get married and live there forever and never come back to NJ"... (Remember that Kristin? Who would have ever thought that would be the truth?!?!?) Gosh... does that make me an official "southerner"???? I think so - and happy to be so.... What used to be so important isn't so anymore... and I am actually happy now when a neighbor's favorice Nascar fan wins, or when one of them makes it to the All American Bass Fishing competition... Or when I just get to sit on my front lawn in my plastic adirondack chairs with great friends, watching the kids play ball in the court and play with sidewalk chalk.
