Ahhh.... the joys of purging! I've been trying really hard for the last few months to get rid of stuff... PURGE... Both the physical and emotional kind of purging. Get rid of excess... you know, excess weight, excess STUFF, etc... Yesterday was a good purging day! I spent 3 hours cleaning out my laundry room. What I haven't figured out is how on earth so much stuff can end up in such a small space! We ended up taking 3 full bags of shoes to Goodwill, plus some other random stuff that had been sitting around waiting to go somewhere (attic, yard sale, goodwill, etc...). Now, everything has a place in there and hopefully we can keep it that way!!!

I've been purging some weight this week... still not under 200 yet. But 200.4 as of yesterday, so I am very hopeful that number will come sometime this week. It is a good feeling! Going to work on some more space today, and see what I can get rid of! Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.

Hi Sarah.. my eye went right to your post.. cause I am on the same wavelength as you.. I am also trying to GET RID OF STUFF.. a few weeks ago I sent 18 bags of clothes off to the american cancer center as donations.. I am still working on my closet.. DH and I have two new organizers we are installing.
So I totally relate to that feeling.. and I wish we could purge that weight as quick as tossing the other stuff
Isn't it great to get stuff out the door? Way to go! You'll be under 200 any minute now.
It is so therapeutic to purge and organize! LOVE the picture, even if it isn't yours. Just makes your breathe a sigh of peace when everything is in its place. We are trying to do a room a weekend, so it isn't too crazy. We have had good luck selling things on Craig's List. You are so close to onederland! Take a nap, wake up and weigh...you should be there! Congrats!!!

I can't wait to get rid of stuff - weight and clothes. My closet is such a mess because I have sizes from 16 to 26. It's ridiculous. I was also looking at my bookshelves that has just about every diet book every written stacked on it and I'm looking forward to clearing those out too. Right now I am so spastic about getting to my next appointment on June 1st and getting my surgery date it's pretty much all I can think about. Maybe right before surgery that nesting feeling everybody talks about will happen and I can get some things done.
Hi band sister! I love purging as well. I have a big bag going to the salvation army and another one going to bandsters!
I just wanted you to know that I am here and reading!!!
Well done! I'm so glad that's not a picture of your laundry room! I was starting to feel unworthy.
I am in the process of getting rid of lots of clothes. Sadly, they all seem too large to offer to the sisterhood, but I'm sure the local charities will love the boxes upon boxes of clothes I have to offer. It is a nice feeling to clean out closets. Next is getting rid of that other clutter we don't need in our home.
Love that laundry room too, it looks so neat and organized. Colors are nice too.
Great laundry...hate mine. I love purging...feels like a weight off doesn't it. Wishing those lbs away for you
