Life really is good...

I am really blessed.  Great friends and family, wonderful blogging community... and I'm reaching my goals.  Slowly but surely, I'm reaching my goals.  So for all of you out there in my cheering section, THANK YOU!  I hope you know I am in yours, and that you have a friend to take your journey with - whatever the journey is and wherever that journey leads.

So, one of my favorite "brands" as it were, is Life is Good.  I have a bunch of their stuff... lots of coffee mugs, a hat, backpack, few t-shirts, etc...  It is just one of those simple things that makes me smile.  Always makes me think about my life and realize that it really is a good one.  For all the little piddly crap that we all deal with, I have nothing to complain about.

This is the original "Life is Good" sketch
At any rate, I'm sitting in my kitchen this morning (it's about 5:30 AM) and just looking around and realizing that I am doing this.  I am achieving some great success with this whole journey because I finally want to.  I did a bit more closet cleaning last night, and had some wonderful NSV's...  I had a bucket of clothes that didn't fit - either I've bought them to shrink in to, or people have given them to me, or they used to fit eons ago and I kept them.  It was one of those big plastic crates...  and I was looking at it and thought "there must be a few things that fit in there by now".  Low and behold, 3/4 of the crate fit well enough to be moved into my closet, meaning they look decent enough to wear in public.  It is a range of clothes from "large" to "XL" and sizes 14-16 (tops) to 22 pants.  As a side note, it is amazing how different women's sizes are, but regardless, quite a victory.  On the other side is the pile of clothes that DOESN'T fit anymore because it is too big.  It is literally 4 feet tall.  I'm going to take a picture of it, because I am in the process of sorting shirts out to send to some of my girls (Mary & Tiffani... they are coming! I hope to have them in the mail on Friday).  Again, if there is anyone out there needing bottoms, I have them in 22-24... and I also have some beautiful dresses (sun dresses and more fancy "party dresses" in those sizes)... if interested, give me a shout!  Oh... and I hope I don't jinx myself before my official Friday weigh-in, but I am down another pound this morning...  It's a good day!
  • On a TOTAL side note, I seem to have lost my followers... Does anyone know how to fix that?  I loved seeing who had joined up, but all the little pictures are gone :-(.  Holler if you know what happened!

Sarah,

I could probably take some of your 'big' clothes off your hands. We can email offline? (kayvee78@aol.com) I have been having trouble posting my comments lately too, I write something sweet or witty and hit post and get 'error on page' and it never shows up! Fires me up!
I noticed the change in your photos too, you really do look terrific. Have a good one.

Thanks Tiffani - I can't see them on my end. Weird. Just glad they are there! I don't want to lose my peeps!

Good post. I really need to concentrate on remembering I don't have it that bad. At all.
