That those of us who know we need to lose weight or know we have something to change about ourselves, but choose different methods to accomplish it, don’t always see that we’re all in the same journey but just simply choosing different methods of transportation?
I’ve been bouncing around some other random blogs I’ve found, and have noticed that while we are all proud of our accomplishments, whether they’ve come with or without surgery, sometimes our decisions are judged. We’ve all been there, right? For those of us who have made the decision to have WLS… maybe our worst judgment came from ourselves, or someone else who said it is the easy way… For those of us who have lost the weight without surgery, I'm sure it is just as hard and you have your doubters too. We all know it isn’t easy. But, we cross that line to the side where we finally believe in ourselves. Losing weight PERIOD isn’t easy. It takes courage, and motivation, and honesty, and chutzpah, and the list could go on. Really, we’re all on a journey to get healthier, right? What does it matter how each of us chooses to do it? And what does it matter what the choice is? Whether it is to lose weight, or give up smoking, or stop drinking or start exercising… all important PERSONAL choices… why judge? (sigh)
On a personal note, we’re getting ready to head west for a short bit so may not be posting for a few days… everyone take care and I’ll catch up with your blog-gress (my new word for blog & progress) soon!

I have come to the conclusion you are a master traveler! I want your porch and your vacations!
I hear you on what you are saying. "I am picking up what you are putting down". Did this post come from a certain blogger who has been trying convential modes of weight loss and now decided to go through with lapband?
Amy...Yes... but also from a person who responded to that blogger, but also some people who post on HIS blog... clearly I don't have enough to do at work!
Hi Sarah, Thanks for the encouraging words. I do realize that things will change once I get to that sweet spot its just really hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel sometimes. Enjoy your vacation! I too will be going away for a little vacation from the 27 until Aug 9. Just spending some time with family at the lake. I can't wait for it!
Seems this 'guy' has had a real impact on our little blogging world recently. This is the 2nd post I've seen that mentions him. You just keep doing what you're doing, Sarah. You're doing it for you, and really, that's all that matters.
Happy travelling.
