We went to Smith Mountain Lake this weekend, and this was the sunrise view from our condo where we were staying... It was amazing and beautiful and a great place to be for a few days! Perfect weather... 60's on Saturday and 70's yesterday. Now to just win Mega Millions so we can buy a place there!
The place we stayed had a beach area where you can swim (not in November) - this is a picture of Dennis and Lucia - she was collecting "treasures" on our walk.
We found a local park on the edge of the Lake, so she was able to get out some energy...
One of my friend's parents has a boat, and they took us out on the lake for 3 hours... what an amazing time! Not cold either... the sweater isn't so flattering, but we were bundled up.
Sidenote: Going back to the last post on LLBean, this is a Bean sweater I got last spring for $5 - it is a size 2x though, and not flattering at all anymore but I can't bear to part with it - too comfy! Oh well... I know there is a littler me under there!
Weight update: I am down to my lowest as of this morning, 216.4. Whoo Hooo!

yay for lowest weight so far! You recovered nicely from the day you made some bad food choices. Maybe it helped us after all? Got it out of our system?

Oy, I'd kill for weather that warm. It's not FREEZING or anything but it's a chilly 45 or so and RAINY as all get out. It will piss rain here (that's what they call it) for the next 4-5 months.
I have a couple of those "can't bear to part wiht them but sheesh I look huge in 'em" clothes, too. They're a security blanket of sorts. Plus I'm cheap :-)

That sunset looks amazing, heck the whole place looks amazing. So great to see you guys happy and smiling. And I say, keep the big blue jumper!! I have one of those also and it's too big now but I'm not ditching it..it's a thick pink cardie - the least flattering piece of clothing I own but goes on like a warm snuggly blanket.

That does look very beautiful, so peaceful! The sweater isn't the best but I know what it's like to not give up something that's more like a snuggie than a sweater! So peaceful, haha!
