Well, here are this morning's pictures... I got the dress on sale from Woman Within (catalog)... and it was tight when I got it - I'm just wearing it, and now it is loose! Oh well... I guess I like that problem! Also, the scarf is what I repurposed. If you remember from my
post back in May, I had a shirt (see the picture below) that I just LOVED - couldn't bear to part with... so I cut it up and with the help of a friend who is a better sewer than I am, made it into a scarf! Yippee! It is kind of one of those "security" blanket things for me, for whatever reason...

Picture of the shirt (size 3x)

Picture of the shirt, now scarf and me... size 16-18 on bottoms and L / XL on top!

What a great idea, Sarah. I love scarves especially in winter but I even have some light colourful ones for summer.. they look so great.. and I'm loving the pattern on yours. You are looking good girl! Very sassy with the black dress too. xxx
PS Thanks for your lovely comment on my last post. It warmed my heart. You're too sweet.
You look great and I LOVE the scarf idea.
OLooh I really like the scarf/security blanket idea, that's really good because we all have a shirt or three that's harder to part with than the rest!
You look great btw in that black dress- very chic and simple that way your scarf pops even more!
Yes, it's a good problem to have clothes that you can only wear for a few weeks because you slip into them and then slip right out of them. I'm thankful I had a few holdovers from my previous slender days even though the styles were out-of-date - didn't care. The scarf is a fabulous idea, too. You look great. You'll be amazed at the transformation during the next 20-30 pounds.
What a terrific idea to make the shirt into a scarf, I am impressed! You would never even know that it wasn't a scarf to begin with! You look amazing in this outfit!
You look good Keep up the hard work. Love the outfit
Wow, Sarah, you look great! You are just shrinking away. I totally think that you goal of 75 lbs by the end of the year is looking reachable. I love the scarf, it is very pretty and such a great idea.
So resourceful! I remember looking at that scarf yesterday and thinking how cute it was.... i should have said something!
