62.1 pounds to date... THE EQUIVALENT OF A LUCIA!!! (see picture left). My daughter is 48 inches and 62 pounds (yes, she is a tall 5 year old)...
I have now lost as much as she weighs! When I picked her up for our morning snuggle this morning, I realized how damn heavy she is - I can't believe I used to carry that on my body every single day for so many years... It was also pointed out to me last week that my ticker has officially flipped to needing to lose less than I have to date...

Last night, as I was watching the Biggest Loser, one of the contestants made a statement that really resonated... (I think it was Danny) - He said something to the effect of "for so many years, I kept making excuses for why I couldn't lose weight. But now I realize, I was the one standing in my own way". Yup... Well, get the hell out of the way Sarah! Time to move on! Wow. What a great day! For being a crummy, rainy, cold, day, I'm walking on sunshine!

that's awesome Sarah....you are doing fantastic! Thanks for your comment and concern over on my blog...believe me I won't be jumping into anything (magic hands?) before I am ready and certain that is the right thing to do..but thank you...I really need to works things out in my head....
Have a great day on your sunshine!
Thats so awesome Sarah!!! My Niece weighs 100lbs and I TRIED to pick her up to see what it felt like and I could not believe that I weighed that much.
You are doing fantastic!!!!!
Whoa!
It's fun to be able to compare your wt lss to an actual person :-)
I'm so excited for you. And inspired. Because of you I've been doing the couch to 5k program loosely. I am now able to "run" for about 6 minutes straight. This is a significant accomplishment because when I started the max I could do was 1 minute and it was a LOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG minute! Now I can do 4-6 minutes straight and feel strong. I can do that 2x for a total of 20 minutes. And like I said, I started because of you. I was so impressed and felt comfortable trying because you had and when I felt "icky" I'd think, well Sarah and the others must have encountered this feeling, I should push on.
So thank you so much. You're doing great and you are inspiring others during your journey.
Oh, one last thing-- you look gorgeous. Hope you know that!
Much love, B
Wow, what a number and in such a short amount of time - you rock! You are a complete inspiration!
That is spectacular!!! Way to go!! :) Amazing to think about the weight in that way, isn't it? I find it shocking to realize how much the extra pounds I was carrying weigh. Gee. . no wonder my feet hurt. . ! :)

Awesome Sarah - I may not have mentioned it before, but I definitely look at your loss as a path for myself. You had surgery maybe 4-5 months prior to me, but were a really similar to my weight and body type, so I love to see you pictures and numbers. You look awesome and happy.
My word verification is "downs" - hopefully that's the way our scales keep going.
Sarah- WOW ! to think that you have lost a whole person in such a short time is just mind blowing !! You truly are doing marvelous and if you compare you pre-op to now MY GOD it's a different person !! Bet you feel like a different person too ??!! CONGRATS !!!
WoW - that's all I can say - W0W!!!!! (Yeah, I know.. most unlike me not to say much lolol) No, seriously, so damn proud of you Miz Sarah. You keep pushing and pushing in the right direction and now you've hit a new low and from one girl to another... well, you just rock!!
Wow, congratulations!! Your pictures are amazing and you're doing so awesome. I'm so happy for you!:)
