OK - not really (but there is a kernel or two of truth to that statement) and my BF neighbor and running partner Ali brought over these headbands (matching) for us to wear tomorrow during the race! LOVE THEM! I have crazy-thick hair (I am not complaining) and have GOT to keep it out of my face... and can't wait to use this tomorrow! And yes... there will be a reward of at least one nice glass of wine tomorrow afternoon/evening... Oh... and answering a few comment questions... (1) from Mary about do I run the whole way... HELL NO! I run about a mile, then walk probably 2/10 or so, then run/walk/run/walk... I average about a mile every 15 minutes. Definitely turtle speed! (2) from Bonnie about what weight was I when I started running... good question - near as I can figure it, somewhere around 230-240 or so I think. I did Curves for a number of months first which really helped tone me... and then last September made it official and started running.

That is too funny. Where did she get them? It will give me more motivation to run when my time comes. Thanks for answering my question about when you started running. I can barely walk right now, but I guess it's just a matter of building stamina.
I need one of those!!!! Love it, enjoy some carbs tonight to get you ready for that race!!
Reminds me of a teeshirt I can't wait to wear...Mommy Drinks Because You Cry...
lol Love the headband ... I always think, who needs an excuse to drink - not me.
Your running is coming up so well. You seem to be getting fitter and running for a longer length before you cut back to the walk. You're still doing better than me though. I do my jog for around a mile and then just fast walk the rest. If I do manage to break back into a jog, I don't do another mile lol.
Love your new blog layout too. Really fresh and clean. So cute.
I love the visor Sarah. Have a great run. I am going out for my first 1 mile walk since being banded. I cannot wait as it should be a beautiful day here in FL.
Love the headband. Have a great run!
Good luck in your race today Sarah!
Funny headbands! Good luck today!!!
Good luck!!
Good luck with the race. Your running stories have actually inspired me to start the Couch to 5k program. I started a week, maybe two ago and I'm sooo slow but at least I'm trying. You're such an inspiration!
Good luck and congrats on having some restriction again!!!
