T-E-M-P-T-A-T-I-O-N!!!

How do you spell it????
Well, a picture is worth a thousand words....
or 200 boxes of Girl Scout cookies (and you aren't even seeing all the cookies in the picture... there are many more boxes on the floor).
Thank GOD I have them sorted and ready to get rid of... although at the same time, I did have 1 Tagalong tonight, and although it tasted okay, I was completely satisfied with one. I have NOT, however, opened the Thin Mints. YET.
~*~*~
*** And yes - that is my internal voice you hear screaming: "Remember the goal of getting below 200... thin mints are the devil, thin mints are the devil!!!" ***
~*~*~
Update as of Weds AM: I had 1 Tagalong and 1 Thin Mint last night. They were good, but I had no urge to have any more - YAY! And as of this morning, I am down to 201... so only 1.2 more to get below 200 - if that isn't motivation, nothing is!

I feel your pain, I had over 600 boxes of the darn things!! I left them in the truck because I don't have to drive it every day and it kept them out of the house. Still gave in and had thin mints, lemonades and caramel delights. Ate 1/4 of what I normally would have and no more craving!

That is the height of cruelty! Good for you for resisting. Get those babies delivered and onto someone else's hips. ;)

Oh my gosh - I am going to steer Cate clear of Girl Scouts. :) Just remember 199!

Oh Sarah...how I feel your pain! As much as I miss those years with my two girls, 23 and 19 now, I do not miss being the Cookie Mom at brownies and Girl Scouts! No matter what I said each year that I wouldn't do it, I would always end up doing it any way!

You doing great though with limiting what your eating. Good for you!

I really think it's against the law to only have 1 thin mint...now 1 box... Good for you! And sooo close to under 200!!! Keep going!

I'm glad my daughter is out of GS but we only have one kind of cookie here in Canada plus the thin mints. They are all the devil. Bad Bad cookies. And all in the name of fundraising. You are so close so stay strong.

I am so impressed that you've only had 1 or 2. We didn't buy any this year, but went over to a friends house and after a couple glasses of wine, found myself eating almost half a box of Samoa's! Going for a fill today! :-)

Holy buttload of cookies batman! Good for Lucia for selling all of those! That is more than I EVER sold. For some reason, girl scout cookies were never my thing! Now oreos...they are a different story!

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels. . nothing tastes as good as thin feels. . nothing tastes as good as Thin Mints. ACK!! :P

I am so impressed with you, Sarah!! I don't know how you managed to only have two cookies, but you are my hero! I had a friend e-mail me that her daughter was selling GS cookies and I deleted it on receipt. . but to be strong in the face of all those boxes, that is Herculean! :)

Go, you! Onederland will be yours soon!

The day I read your post the doorbell rang and three adorable girls were selling girl guide biscuits (spooky!) - I had to buy a couple of packets to support them - now I'm trying to offload them on my kids as soon as possible so I don't eat any more than the two I are tonight....get away from me, biscuits...(we call cookies biscuits in New Zealand, in case you were wondering).
