Well, I'm down 25 pounds as of this morning! Yay! I wonder how many times I've lost this 25 pounds??? Oh well, it is sweeter than the last time(s).I had my fill on Tuesday, and have been on liquids/mushy foods since then. I am definitely noticing a bit more restriction than I had before. My portions are smaller, which is a good thing. I'm supposed to stay full for 4 hours between meals, which is not quite there yet, but we'll see how it goes today when I move to solids.
I had a random thought this morning. I was getting dressed, and I am definitely noticing that there are some clothes that I need to put away (wait - GIVE AWAY), hopefully for good! Clothes like underwear, some shirts, and definitely some pants. But I'm kind of sad on one particular pair of pants and one particular tank top. How crazy - really??? An attachment to pants??? These pants are khaki, size 26 trousers from Old Navy. Got them on clearance for $12. I think I've gotten about $8000 worth of wear out of them. They were always my "go to" pair - no matter how fat and blah I was feeling, I could always count on putting them on and them fitting, and honestly, not looking bad (in fact, I have a black pair too but I like the khaki ones more). They have (had?) a good cut to them, and never really looked awful. But, they are just getting too big and starting to hang in a non-flattering way. I think that I will find a special box, to keep my fat pants/clothes in to remind me of where I have been. But, only a few choice pieces will go in this box. Because I do NOT want the temptation of having clothes around, should I gain a few back.
Weird, these random thoughts! If anyone else there reading this has had WLS, have you kept clothes around??? Happy Friday!

Talking about keeping clothes.... the second I find that an item was too baggy it was out. It gave me a sense of accomplishment to be able to send them off to Goodwill. I have not kept one thing! My largest size ever was 22-- I am now a 16:)
Sarah, you will find that the closet isn't big enough for keeping and I love giving them away. Don't plan to go back up there. I started at size 24 and tonight I bought a size 16 dress. You are doing so well! Someone out there can use your larger sizes.
I kept my favorite outfit so I can look back and compare. And I have kept the outfit that I took all my progress pictures in. It's really good to have something to measure by. I haven't kept anything with then intention of wearing it again. Doesn't sound like you plan to either.
I can relate to the small amount of mourning clothes that you really enjoyed wearing. I had a pair of 16W pants with butterflies on the pockets that I just loved. I gave them away a few weeks ago because I had to face that they were entirely too big. I don't have any pants that I feel as cute in anymore. But it's all part of the process. You're doing great!
