I went to Kohl's on my way home from work to buy a new scale (they are on sale, and I want one that measures in at least 2/10 increments instead of 1/2 lb increments), and on a whim, decided to take a stroll thru the women's section while I was there.... Kohl's always has some great sales, and most of my t-shirts are crap (stained, old, pilled, etc...) so I picked up some smaller plus sizes (1x) and a pair of shorts in a size 22. I had to walk thru the "other" section (the non-plus / ladies? I don't even know what that section is called!!!) and passed some cute clothes on the way to the dressing room. NOT EXPECTING ANYTHING TO FIT, I picked up a cute T-shirt, size XL. Guess what?!?!? It fit!
Yay! Yippee! Whoo Hooo!
I bought 3 of them. Oh - and the shorts fit too - a tiny bit tight, but a few more pounds and they will be great! I haven't fit in a size 22 shorts for well over 2 years. And seriously, I can't remember the last time I shopped in a non plus size section... In fact, I don't think I ever have since I've technically been an adult. What a great day.
Oh - and the new scale has me 4/10 of a pound lower than the old one. I'll take that too!

Thats funny about your scale! LOL! Maybe I should buy one too.
Its also funny you are talking about size 22 bc I have these slacks that I have been hanging on too for a couple of years. They are a size 22 and still have the tags on them bc I must have bought them right at the cusp of being a 22 and then must have gained weight...anyways...
I went to try them on bc I was going to take a picture of how they dont fit, and then take another picture when they do fit...and guess what...they fit! I would still like to lose about 10 more pounds until before I wear them though, cuz they are a smidge tight in the thighs...but still!
