Wow! I have NO idea what happened in the last 24 hours, but I am not arguing with it!!! I got up this morning, and did my normal routine: Go potty, stretch, get nekked, and step on the scale. Low and behold, the scale read 246.6. Huh?!?!? So I stepped off, rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, and stepped back on. Sure enough, 246.6!!!! That gets me to my goal of losing 10% of my weight (which was 27.7) and past the 30 pounds lost mark.So the goal for May 5th... If you remember from an earlier post, I put a stake in the ground to be at 246.5. The scale just hasn't moved for the last few weeks, so I figured that was reasonable. I guess I have to change it now!
I decided this morning to also take my measurements, and start documenting the weight loss by date, so I can really see how I'm doing. I like numbers & data (a little bit), and like seeing how I've been doing. It is a good reminder that this is working! Especially when I get down because I'm up a pound or two. I heard someone say the other day, that it takes 5 positive thoughts to erase 1 negative thought. I think that is probably true! I hold on to the negative thoughts in my head far longer than the positive ones. So, I've added the measurements on to the side of my blog, and will update them monthly. It's a good reminder for me. Realistically, I think I'll try to have Fridays as my official "weight" date, at least for purposes of updating my spreadsheets. We'll see. I still think I'll weigh every morning. At any rate, it's a good Friday morning so far!

Great job and congratulations on meeting your goal!!! You are on your way.....Keep it up. I love your comment on 5 positive thoughts to erase one negative. That is so true...we need to be easier on ourselves. Keep up the positive thoughts!
