The other stuff hasn't been that hard - I'm doing pretty well with getting in my protein. Now that I bought a camelback water bottle, I'm getting in at least 48 oz. of water a day - often more. I'm eating WAY less than I used too... and hopefully after today's fill of another .75 cc's, that restriction will be greater. I've been limiting alcohol to the weekends, and then in far less quantity than prior to the surgery. I'm putting my fork down between bites, and TRYING to take longer to eat my food. The doc's office was very pleased with my progress... although the NP did remind me that exercise is one of the keys to success. Duly noted! (with a mock salute!) And since I am going to be one of the success pictures on their wall, I think I know what the next step is to get there, right???

Because it is hard! But if you are doing it 1-2 times a week that is better than none. You have to make a goal for yourself...a non-scale goal.
What kind of exercising are you doing? Maybe its boring and thats why you hate it?
Hell, I dont know! My walking has slacked off. My goal is to go 3 times this week. Think of how good you feel afterwards!
Amy - I was doing T-Tapp, but found it kind of frustrating - it is a good workout tho! And walking when I can get it in, or other chores around the house (gardening, laundry)... but I just am not into it - however, I have to get there! I know it will come. I just want this part to be magic!!!
What is a camelback water bottle? Just curious?
I feel you on this one! I'm STILL not where I want to be exercise-wise. It's the hardest obstacle for me to overcome. Keep trying and committing to it -- you'll get there!
