- I have way more energy than I used to
- I look forward to getting up to exercise M/W/F at 5:30 AM (who woulda thunk?) and I'm starting to wake up on my own at 5:30. that never used to happen
- I've been able to stop my medicine that helped me sleep because I'm able to sleep thru the night now
- I'm not getting up in the middle of the night to pee nearly as much as I did
- I'm drinking WAY more water than I used too (at least 64 oz a day, usually more)
- I'm fitting into clothes that I haven't fit into in YEARS
- I actually can RUN with Lucia (albeit for only a few minutes, but I can do it)
- My self-confidence is beginning to find its way back
- I'm starting to want to get rid of my "fat" clothes because for the first time I believe I will never have to wear them again
- I want to wear clothes that aren't as baggy and make me look decent now
- The first thing I think about when I see food now is how much protein it has instead of how many weight watchers points it might be
- I can have a bite or two of dessert and not feel at all guilty because I know it is all in moderation
There are still some things I need to work on, the biggest of which is alcohol. I love my glass of wine at night. BUT... I find that it is so easy to have "just one more", and it is also easy to not think too much about it, because it's liquid, and because I'm having so few calories during the day, it shouldn't count much, right?!?!?! Remember - I can be the Queen of justification... So... since my weight loss has stalled a bit this last week, I think that I will cut way back on the booze for a while and see what happens. My portion sizes are definitely smaller, but I've also noticed in the last few days that I can eat more and I'm hungrier often. Thankfully I am scheduled for another fill tomorrow morning, so we'll see what happens! I can't wait to see what the next 3 months will bring!

You are doing great! If it makes you feel better, I was only down 20 lbs by the 3 month mark, and you're doing at least 10 lbs better!
I totally hear you on the wine . . that's my favorite indulgence, too. It's just so civilized and nice to relax with some lovely wine at the end of the day!

I think you are doing great! Cut out that wine if you can! I dont drink much (I think I will blog about that later), so I dont have to worry about that. But when I do think about drinking something yummy...I think...would I rather drink my calories or eat them? I always choose EAT. Also, I remember my doc telling me before surgery...think about what you are putting in your body and what you are getting from it...ie. energy, etc. You dont get much nutritional value from wine...but you could get a nice happy warm feeling! :)
