OK - a couple of people asked to see the skirt that was risky... so here you go! For those of you who know me well, you know that this skirt is WAY out of my normal comfort level! I know it isn't like I'm wearing hooker heels, or fish nets - but this was a big step for me. I feel like I should be on a Caribbean beach somewhere! Oh - and did I mention I got it for like $5? My two neighbors sell clothes (new and gently used) and this was one of the steals I got! I also got the white t-shirt from them - Lands' End, brand new for $3. I love me a good deal! Next preview sale is Friday, June 5th for anyone who wants to go with me here in Richmond!!!
Time for bed... or at least head upstairs to kiss Lucia goodnight (who is already asleep). Long day. But I feel good.

Very cute skirt. You are going to have to get used to wearing different things when you lose weight. When I lost 45 lbs about 10 years ago it was hard for me to change and I kept wearing oversized baggy clothes. At the time I had a young cool neighbor who kept me in check and helped me dress better. She thought I looked heavier in my oversized clothes and pushed me to wear more body conscious stuff. It was hard to make that transition. Now I can't wait to make that transition again!

Yes, that is the jacket that didn't used to fit! And unfortunately (?) I don't own birkies any more... time for a new pair though! However, those are crocs! Love crocs...
Sarah, that is a great color on you, and yes i agree with Linda after you loose some weight you have to be a little riskier , still tasteful, I'm a big fun of color. it makes you want to smile.I wish i lived closer to you we could go shopping by your neighbors , I love a good deal, infact I dont buy unless is on sale.
