I went to Curves this afternoon. It felt so darn good to exercise. I never thought I would see myself put those words in writing, or hear myself say them! I hadn't forgotten anything from when I belonged before, and I was actually able to get to a slow jog during the cardio portion. So different than 2 years ago. I signed up for a year. This one is a little further from my house, but it has Mon-Weds-Fri hours starting at 6am, so my plan is to go then before work on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Fridays can be anytime.
BTW - If any of you were looking at the Lap-Band offer to join, go to your local club first. Mine was able to beat the on-line deal substantially! So, I'm signed up... Yippee! Probably time for a new pair of sneakers too... eventually!

What is the lapband deal? Is it the link on your previous post?
I am "supposed" to be on clear liquids for 48 hours prior to a fill. Some docs call for 48 hours of full. Some docs just say no food or drink the day of. I guess its so nothing is in your stomach when you get the fill. I thought I could have FULL liquids instead of clear, and when he was filling me up he mentioned something about clear and I told him OOPS, I had been on full (he whispered something like "thats okay").
