Yesterday was a big day in our household! Lucia had her graduation ceremony from pre-kindergarten. Before kids, I used to think that these kinds of ceremonies were completely cheesy. Of course, now that it is MY kid, it's adorable! She did very well considering that she woke up at 5:30 yesterday morning, and the ceremony wasn't until 7pm last night!

36 pounds later and Lucia's graduation

Congrats on you success. Im in the planning stage and have a Lap Band seminar to attend in July. Wondering how long it takes to actually get the band put in. My husband is against this but Ive been in Tops for 5 years and am 4lbs away from my original weight. Lost 25 lbs at one time but gained it back after I had back surgery. Im Looking forward to my apptmts. I am 55 and take 4 pills a day for high blood pressure. Also, my knees are giving out on me. Gezz. Glad to read the positive posts as well as any negative one (not finding to many of them though-thank God) Good Luck on your journey.
